However, if you are looking for the feel of a traditional rower, this model does not feel the same. It does, nevertheless, provide a killer workout. Read on to learn what this machine has to offer and if it is the right choice for you.

My Verdict: The Pros and Cons
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I finished assembling this product as I was used to using traditional rowers that move forwards and backward compared to the seat going in an elliptical style movement.

My Rating of the Teeter Power 10 Elliptical Rower
Construction Quality & Durability: 4.8 / 5.0
Overall, this rower is very sturdy, and it is obvious that thought has been put behind the development of the features and components. I wish the cords for the console were better protected on the inside of the frame than connecting on the outside. Since they are exposed, they can be caught as you move around the machine and damage the connections.

The Teeter Power 10 features construction upgrades to the previous model. Consumers requested a water bottle holder, and this new model now features them on both console sides. While the water bottle holders are not very deep, the console can tip upwards, better accommodating larger bottles.
Riding Experience and Performance: 4.4 / 5.0
The performance of this machine is very high quality. The machine smoothly moves throughout the elliptical rotation. This model, however, is not as quiet as a traditional spin bike, as there is a definite sound that is produced with every stroke.
The riding experience was not what I had expected as the motion took a little getting used to, but the workout delivered from the very first stroke. I have always used rowers that make you feel as if you are really rowing a boat due to the placement of your hands and how the seat usually moves front and back. This machine has a movement that is in a class of its own since the seat moves on the elliptical track of the machine, making the rider go up and down. Also, your hands are much wider than other rowers. Because of the machine’s design, it helps keep the rider in the correct position and offers greater muscle activation. Proper body alignment helps to decrease the potential for injury.

Want a machine that gives a great workout in a short amount of time? With the ability to quickly increase the resistance with a quick click on the left handlebar, the workload of this machine drastically increases. I also loved that I could change the direction of which way the elliptical turned with Teeter’s Bi-Directional Magnetic Resistance to target different muscle groups.
*Instructor Tip: Short on time? Don’t feel like you must complete your workout in one solid block. Breaking your workout into smaller segments will still help to move your fitness forward and enjoy the health benefits of exercise. My favorite short workout on the Teeter Power 10 is rowing 2,000 meters as fast as I can when I am short on time.
Assembly Process: 4.2 / 5.0
The assembly manual suggests that two people are needed to assemble this rower. While the assembly of this machine was pretty straightforward, I agree that more than one person is required to construct the base of the rower. Even with the assistance of my husband, it was a little challenging to line up the two base pieces so that the screw holes matched. That section would be tough if I were the only person assembling the rower. Once the base was together, I could finish the assembly process on my own. One critique I have is that if someone would prefer to watch the assembly process in video form, the videos online are for a slightly different model.
Comfort & Adjustability: 4.8 / 5.0
I appreciated that I could adjust many components of this rower and how it was designed with comfort in mind.
The seat is incredibly comfortable as it is much larger and longer than a traditional rower. Since the seat is ergonomically designed, it helps support you more than conventional rower seats. While I did not have to adjust the seat, for taller users, there are additional screw holes that allow the seat to be moved to a farther position away from the console.

Teeter’s foot straps go far beyond the usually plastic strap. These are designed to securely keep your foot in place with its wrap-around ratchet bindings, which is essential as I found it challenging at higher resistances to keep my feet in the correct position when I was at the farthest point of the elliptical motion away from the console. I felt that I had a more difficult time due to my height with the elliptical motion, compared to my husband, who is six inches taller than I am. Therefore, riders taller than me might not have this issue. Once I could get a rhythm going, I could scoot my hips into a better position to keep my fit more securely in place.
When I first got on the Power 10, the handles were too far back (due to my height), so it did not feel comfortable. With an easy adjustment, the machine placed the handles in a position that better accommodated my body.
Console, Content & Connectivity: 4.4 / 5.0
One feature that I really enjoyed was the ability of the console to pivot up and down. While this might not seem like an important feature, it helps riders of all height ranges be able to position the console in a way that works for them. The battery-powered console tracks metrics such as time, distance, heart rate, and calories burned.
The Power10 has Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless integration with the included heart rate monitor. This feature lets users track their real-time performance metrics for a more interactive workout experience.

Teeter provides a free app that includes instructor-led workouts and important content on how to use their products. While many other companies charge for the fitness apps that coincide with their machines, I appreciate that Teeter includes this option instead of charging a monthly subscription fee. The content is not as extensive as other paid apps, but it has valuable content.
Financing Options & Warranty: 4.5 / 5.0
Financing Options
Teeter provides financing plans to make the Power10 Elliptical Rower more affordable. Customers can explore various payment options during the purchase process, including financing for as low as 0% APR for four payments.
Warranty
Teeter offers a 90-day return policy. This model offers a 3-year warranty for the frame and two years for labor and parts. Most frames have a warranty of 10 years, especially for indoor cycling bikes, but for what they lack in a frame warranty, they make up for in labor and parts. Usually, that portion of the warranty is only for a year. Teeter also offers a 5-year warranty extension for those who are interested.
Value for Money: 4.0 / 5.0
The Teeter Power 10 Elliptical Rower is priced at just over $1,000. The good news is that this machine qualifies as a Health Savings Account purchase. It seems very durable and built to last. I wish that the warranty was a little longer for something with a price tag in this range. However, this model is not something you will grow out of because the workouts will not be challenging. This machine will continue to challenge you every time you use it.
Offers a unique combination of rowing and elliptical movements for a full-body, low-impact workout. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and challenging, with adjustable resistance and useful features like a heart rate monitor.
