Detailed Review Of The SF-B1709
Now for the fun bit, let’s break it down and tell you all about the Sunny SF-B1709 in detail. Here’s what you need to know.
Riding Experience & Performance 5/5
The Sunny SF-B1709 is a great
Construction Quality & Durability 5/5
When we first ordered the SF-B1709 for the price it was, we didn’t know what to expect. We really didn’t want it to be flimsy or just rattly, but that wasn’t something we needed to worry about. It’s a solid
Assembly Process 4/5
The assembly I personally found very interesting. Although it looks overwhelming when you first open the box, it is actually a very simple
Comfort & Adjustability 4/5
We scored the SF-B1709 a three on comfort. Although it has more than enough adjustability to play with, we found the saddle pretty uncomfortable. We appreciate it’s a personal thing when it comes to saddles, and everyone behind is different.
Connectivity 2/5
Then we have connectivity. The Sunny SF-B1709 doesn’t offer connectivity to applications. It doesn’t mean you will have a bad experience and can still follow applications like Sunny’s App, Peloton, and iFit. There’s always the option of investing in power meter pedals and doing so for applications like Zwift, but they are more than the
Support, Financing Options & Warranty 4/5
The customer service gets good reviews if you require any after-sales assistance, and the support is better than other spin
Value For Money 5/5
Coming in at $400 on an offer currently, the Sunny SF-B1709 comes in at a very low price. It’s incredibly cheap and even comes with free shipping. This is just a huge bargain to be had, and we couldn’t quite believe it cost as little as it did.
Comparison With Alternative
Sunny Tryden
A close comparison coming in around the same price is the Tryden, also from Sunny. It has Bluetooth Connectivity to some applications and a sleeker look. Ideal if you are looking to connect to applications, but it doesn’t offer as many positions on the handlebars and comes with a much heavier flywheel. It looks flashier but is slightly more basic under it all. Well worth a look at.
Verdict
Not only does it look great, but it offers such a lovely ride, and the experience it gives is very personal and does feel like a spin bike, not a cheap exercise bike.
